Meet the Founder

Deborah Dilley is the Owner/Operator of D.Dilley Enterprises. She has worked in the non-profit world for over 20 years, with 10 years of that specifically in the victim-services field. Learning how to bridge the divide between the program world and that of administration, Deborah has worked with a variety of local non-profits on program and financial management including: the Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault, Utah Crime Victims Legal Clinic, Utah Homicide Survivors, Utah Community Action, Utah Developmental Disabilities Council, Journey of Hope, Utah Health and Human Rights, Dahlias’ Hope, and the English Skills Learning Center and the Utah Cold Case Coalition. In wanting to explore the healing side of trauma, she has been a yoga-instructor for the past 10 years and conducts trainings on self-care, wellness, and trauma stewardship. Prior to her entry into the victm services field, Deborah managed the Educational Outreach Program for the University of Utah’s Middle East Center training educators, students and the community-at-large about history, culture, and current issues facing the Middle East and US immigrants from the region.  She also has an extensive background in human rights advocacy and citizen media journalism working with organizations such as the American-Kurdish Information Network and Global Voices Online.

Recently her focus has been on providing training and technical assistance on trauma stewardship, trauma-informed yoga, working with survivors of sexual violence from vulnerable and underserved communities, and non-profit financial management. She is also a trainer for the Utah Sex Positive Education Academy.
